Write for Life
Expressive Writing Conference  in Sweden

From 18th- 20th September

At: Essinge Church, Stockholm

This is Sweden's 2nd Expressive Writing Conference, an event pioneered by  writer and writing practitioner Emelie Dittmer. I'm delighted to be included as one of the speakers over three days of talks, workshops, and shared reflection, exploring the creative and restorative practice of writing.

My keynote talk and journalling workshop  - Between Starshine and Clay - will focus on the theme of hope, and how we can use journalling to nurture  and sustain a personal haven of hope amidst life's turbulence

Those in my journalling network of followers and Substack subscribers are offered a  discount when they book using the code WFL26 .  It would be wonderful to see some of you there!

Journalling our Journeys

Free Online Journalling Workshop
Monday October 12th  7-9pm

As the evenings lengthen into Autumn, I'll be running some evening journalling workshops online.

Journalling our Journeys on October 12th is a session to inspire, refresh and encourage the practice of journalling through seasons of transition and challenge.

It's the first of a series of 4, with the subsequent 3 workshops at fortnightly intervals,

on October 26th, November 9th and 23rd, from 7-9pm.

I am offering the first workshop as a free event, and participants will have the option of booking the follow-up workshops - £20 per session - in due course.

This first workshop  can be booked on Eventbrite  here

Journalling our Faith

Free online faith journalling workshop
Monday October 19th  7-9pm

As we approach Advent, I'm also running some faith journalling workshops in this lead-up to the Church calendar's  new year.

Journalling our Faith on October 19th is for those who wish to journal with a specific focus on the journey of Christian spirituality. It's a session to help us explore different journalling approaches, using the written word to deepen our connection with the Living Word. It will be followed up with 3 further workshops at fortnightly intervals on November 2nd, 16th and 30th, from 7-9pm.

I am offering the first workshop as a free event and participants will  have the option of booking the follow-up workshops - £20 a session - in due course.

The first workshop can be booked on Eventbrite  here
